Works Extent
The project is located on the Banduff Road between the Rathcooney Road junction and the Old Youghal Road junction.
Objective
- Provide safe, high quality and continuous routes for pedestrians along the Banduff Road that will allow vulnerable road users to commute and access local amenities, along with the provision of bus stops for new public transport links.
Timeline
Start: Section 38 approved and detailed design commenced in Q4 2023.
Finish: Detailed design ongoing. Contract tender & award and construction to follow.
