Noise
EU Directive 2002/49/EC, which was transposed into Irish law through the European Communities (Environmental Noise) Regulations 2018 to 2021, requires the local authorities within the Cork agglomeration (Cork City Council, Cork County Council) to produce Strategic Noise Maps and Noise Action Plans every five years
This document will provide a basis for actions for the Noise Action Planning Authorities over a five year period.
Domestic and Neighbourhood Noise are a matter to be resolved between the parties concerned.
