Cork City Council will be reintroducing on-street parking charges from Monday June 8 2020.
As set out in national Government guidance, on-street parking enforcement and charges will return from next Monday.
On-street parking charges in Douglas will return from Monday June 8 also, however the first two hours parking will be free.
Free parking will continue at Paul St and North Main Street multi-storey car parks. There are over 900 parking spaces between both sites. This will be subject to ongoing review.
The Black Ash Park & Ride facility is also reopening to customers from Monday 8th June.
Please note that while the Park & Ride opening times and usage charges will return to normal, due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions on capacity in public transport, the bus capacity will be significantly reduced to approximately 20% of normal levels.
This may mean that passengers will experience delays at peak times in accessing the bus transport. We ask for your continued patience and understanding at this difficult time and would recommend that the best times to travel to and from the facility in the bus is during off peak times.
Residents Permits:
If you wish to renew your parking permit you can post your application form along with the required documentation and relevant fee (postal order, bank draft or cheque made payable to Cork City Council) to Cork City Council, Roads Operations – Traffic Department, City Hall, Cork.
