A Contemporary Art Outpost in the heart of Cork city, Cork's Lavit Gallery will break new ground this month with the opening of an Outpost on Patrick Street. This exciting and innovative shop window for contemporary Irish art will bring the best of Irish art directly to people on Cork's main shopping street in the run up to Christmas. Highlights from the Winter Exhibition now on at Lavit Gallery on Wandesford Quay are also to be displayed right in the heart of the city, along with paintings by Louise Nyland, Diarmuid Breen and Tom Climent, bronze sculptures by James L Hayes, John Behan and Alexsandra Kowalczyk, ceramics by Sinead Fagan, Sonja Guenther and Etain Hickey and glassware by Aoife Soden. Artworks will be shown alongside seasonal gift favourites from Gillian Nunan, Joanne Robey, Kilcoe Studios, Barbara Hubert Bookbindery and many more.
